Founder’s Week Feb. 6−10
All sessions to be streamed live online at www.foundersweek.org
Dr. Paul Nyquist, president of Moody Bible Institute
Moody Bible Institute's 116th Founder’s Week will take place Feb. 6−10, focusing on the theme “Heirs with Christ.”
“’We are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ,’ is taken from Romans 8:17, and the scripture for which Founder’s Week is based,” said Moody president, Dr. Paul Nyquist.
“Throughout the week we are going to explore this wonderful truth and its implications for the Christian life. No matter where we are at in our walk, knowing that we are heirs with Christ because the Spirit of God dwells within us must deeply impact us and cause us to rejoice and look forward with hope.”
Honoring the Feb. 5th birthday of 19th century evangelist and founder of Moody, Dwight Lyman Moody, Founder’s Week features worship, music, fellowship and teaching from today’s foremost Christian leaders. Speakers include, Bryan Loritts, Janet Parshall, Eric Rivera, Gary Chapman, and Tony Evans.
Special guests leading worship during the conference will be Vertical Church Band and recording artist Jonathan McReynolds, who will be performing on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Moody student leaders and ensembles will perform throughout the week as well. Taking place on Friday is the Festival of Praise, featuring all of Moody’s music ensembles with student worship leaders.
