Moody Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremonies
Church and ministry leaders from around the country will once again gather together for a week of great preaching and encouragement during Moody Bible Institute's annual Pastors' Conference May 23-27. This year's event is being extended to include the "Engage the Culture" conference (May 25-27) which will equip Christian leaders to biblically navigate the rapidly-changing culture.
"Moody has a heart for pastors and church leaders serving around the globe," said Dr. Paul Nyquist, president of Moody Bible Institute. "This is one of the premiere conference events and we're excited for the opportunity to encourage and equip as many as possible to impact the world for Christ."
Moody's Pastors' Conference is open to both male and female registrants, making the teaching, workshops, fellowship and worship available to all church, ministry and lay leaders.
Among the speakers for the conference will be Daniel Henderson, president of Strategic Renewal; D.A. Horton, Urban Church Planter; James MacDonald, senior pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel; Pam MacRae, Moody Bible Institute associate professor of pastoral studies; Paul Nyquist; Elizabeth Smith, Moody Bible Institute associate professor of educational ministries; John Trent, Gary D. Chapman Chair of Marriage and Family Ministry at Moody Theological Seminary; and Ralph West, senior pastor of The Church Without Walls in Houston.
Worship throughout the conference will be led by Christian recording artist, Aaron Shust. Topics covered during the conference will include church management, marriage and family, preaching, self-care, women's ministry and youth ministry.

The “Engage the Culture” conference will begin Wednesday evening and run through noon on Friday, May 27. Pastors’ Conference registration includes “Engage the Culture” at no additional charge. Attendees will learn strategies for engaging the culture from a biblical perspective and articulating the Gospel with clarity and godly compassion.
Speakers and workshop leaders will include Darrell Bock, senior research professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary; John Dickerson, teaching pastor in residence at Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, Calif.; Tony Evans, bestselling author and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas; Deborah Gorton, Moody Bible Institute associate professor; Chip Ingram, senior pastor of Venture Christian Church; Al Mohler Jr., president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Janet Stiven, Moody Bible Institute general counsel; and Christopher Yuan, author and adjunct instructor at Moody Bible Institute.

Issues facing the Church that will be covered during the conference include racism, gender identity, ISIS/terrorism, human trafficking/sexual exploitation and LGBT issues.
