Representatives
Harold Baker
Harold Baker is the representative for Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, northern Alabama, and northwest Georgia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia Bible College in 1980. After serving for a few years as a missionary in the Dominican Republic, he earned an MBA degree and spent almost 10 years owning and operating two restaurants. Harold then worked as a business consultant with the Small Business Administration in Georgia. He has served in the Stewardship Department at Moody since 2012. Harold has been an elder in his church and loves to read, play golf, travel, and teach the Bible. He and his wife, Meg, have been married for 30 years and have four daughters, one of whom is a Moody alumna.

Becky Byrd
Becky Byrd serves as a representative for southern Chicagoland, in addition to northwest Indiana. Becky holds a Bachelors of Arts in Bible and Theology from Moody Bible Institute and a master’s degree in Historical Theology from Wheaton Graduate School. For five years, she assisted Dr. John Trent, the Chapman Chair of Marriage and Family Ministry and Therapy at Moody Theological Seminary before joining the stewardship team. She has written a chapter in Marriage: Its Foundation, Theology, and Mission in a Changing World (Moody Publishers, 2018). In her spare time, Becky enjoys meeting old and new friends for coffee, reading, knitting, photography, golfing, gardening, running, and exploring new places with the family. Her and her husband, Steve, have four children, Emily, Madeline, Olivia, and Lincoln, two who have special needs.

Doug Crisafulli
Doug Crisafulli serves as the representative for southeast Florida. Originally raised in the Boston area, he has lived and worked in south Florida since 1991, where he has enjoyed the local Moody radio station, WRMB, for more than two decades. Before joining Moody in 2015, Doug held operations and executive management roles in the hospitality and technology industries. He remains actively involved in his local church as part of the leadership team and using his gifts of hospitality, organization, and administration to serve the church body and to minister to the community. “I am humbled and encouraged daily to work with the many faithful Moody ministry partners here who joyfully share their time, talents and treasures for the Kingdom.” Doug and his wife, Lisa, reside in Boynton Beach and are blessed with three adult children.

Bob Eckart
Bob Eckart is the representative for Florida. He graduated from the Navy School of Music in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army between 1967 and 1970 with the third Armored Division Band stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Before joining Moody in 2007, Bob worked in real estate and foodservice sales. Bob teaches the Crown Biblical Financial Study at his church. Bob and his wife, Heidemarie, have one son, Christopher, and four grandchildren who live in Lecanto, Florida.

Scott Friend
Scott Friend serves as a representative in western Ohio and Indiana. Scott earned a BS in Business Management from Ball State University in 1986 and after graduation worked in the food service industry for ten years. Scott then held various positions in nonprofit administration and ministry work for 21 years and earned the level of Certified Fund Raising Executive. Coming to Moody, Scott felt honored to be a servant of God through this capacity. “Moody Radio played a key role in encouraging my life and knowledge of the Lord,” Scott says. “I’m filled with joy to be able to give back to this ministry.” Scott enjoys cooking, gardening, and teaching Bible classes. Scott and his wife Carolyn have two adult children.

Gerad Hall
Gerad Hall serves as a representative for Iowa, eastern Missouri, and northwestern, central, and southern Illinois. Gerad is from the Quad Cities region of eastern Iowa and western Illinois. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Moody. Prior to coming on staff with Moody, he served as a family pastor in East Moline, Illinois, for more than nine years. He and his wife, Melissa, have been married for more than 10 years and have three sons.

Steve Kile
Steve Kile serves as a representative in the southwest and northeast Florida. Steve earned a BS from the business school at Florida State University. Prior to salvation, he worked in the hospitality industry. At the age of 39, Steve met the Lord. Through Moody Radio he was encouraged and discipled. He then dedicated himself vocationally to Moody in 1995, a ministry that produces results for God’s Kingdom. Knowing Moody alumni who have ministered in Muslim countries encourages Steve to continue this work through Stewardship. He and his wife, Kelly, reside in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Ed Jordan
Ed Jordan serves as a representative for northern Chicagoland, Northern Illinois, and Wisconsin. Ed graduated from Moody in 2007 and went directly into youth ministry, returning to serve at Moody for a few years. Afterward, he left to pursue educational administration in Texas and to complete his master’s in higher education administration. Ed is excited to return to Moody once again, engaging with ministry partners in the northern suburbs of Chicago to help equip Moody students for ministry. Ed and his wife, Emily, have been married for more than 15 years and have two children, a daughter and a son.

Rocky Payne
Rocky Payne serves as the eastern regional manager for Moody Bible Institute, leading the team of representatives in that region. In addition, Rocky interacts regularly with Moody partners who live in south Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Rocky’s service at Moody Bible Institute began in 1997 as a Moody Radio station manager. In 2004, he accepted new responsibilities in the area of stewardship. Rocky understands that a biblical steward seeks to honor Jesus Christ with an increasing personal application of time, talent, and resources in support of gospel ministry. We give and love because He first gave His love (1 John 4:19). It is with joy that Rocky seeks to relate how God is accomplishing Great Commission work through Moody. Rocky and his wife Cathy have two children and they reside in the metro Atlanta area.

Jay Pounder
Jay Pounder serves as the representative for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. He received his degree from Spokane Community College in criminal justice. Jay served as a reserve deputy with the Spokane County Sheriff’s department for two years. He devoted 15 years in the banking and financial industry, where he both led teams and helped many clients recognize their financial goals. More recently he led a large team of financial analysts who assisted large corporate clients with complex account payables. He also spent additional time volunteering with wish-granting organizations to terminally ill children. Jay grew up in the church, and he and his wife have assisted with both planting and leading churches in the Spokane area. Jay lives in Spokane, Washington with his wife and four children on their family farm.

Jeff Roloff
Jeff Roloff serves as the midwest regional manager, leading the team of representatives in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. He is the primary contact for friends and donors in the state of Michigan. Jeff earned his BS from Huntington University in 1997 and his MBA from Anderson University in 2001. Prior to coming to Moody, Jeff served as the associate vice president for Advancement Services at Cornerstone University, director of advancement at Kuyper College and director of major gifts at Huntington University. Jeff and his wife Christy and their two children are members of Ada Bible Church and reside in western Michigan. He is honored to represent and encourage support of the students and ministries of Moody.

Joe Santuomo
Joe Santuomo serves as the representative for eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Raised north of Columbus, Ohio, Joe received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Kent State University and then received a master’s in Applied Politics from the University of Akron. Prior to coming to Moody, Joe spent 12 years in development including Kent State University and University Hospitals in Cleveland. Joe and his wife, Amy, have been married for more than 15 years and have two children. They have attended The Chapel in Akron since 2006. Joe roots for all Cleveland sports teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Little League baseball team he coaches.

Ron Storm
Ron Storm serves as the western regional manager, leading the team of representatives in that region of the United States. He also serves as a representative in Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Ron received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and master’s in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from California State University at Fullerton. He is a California native and currently lives in Ontario, California. Prior to joining Moody, he served for more than three decades in Christian social services, working with victims of abuse and neglect. During that time, Ron also served 12 years as CEO of Hillview Acres Children’s Home. Ron and his wife, Linda, have three grown sons and a guardian daughter from China. Two of his sons are Moody alumni and his daughter is a student at Moody. Ron’s passion for Moody grew out of him being a Moody parent for over seven years and seeing the impact of Moody’s ministry in the lives of his sons.

Bob Toyama
Bob Toyama serves as a representative in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Bob earned his BS from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1977. Before joining the Moody team in 2014, Bob worked in the financial industry for over 30 years. Bob enjoys encouraging partnership and donor relations to advance the work of Moody. He and his wife Mary, and their two daughters live in Chicago.

Larry Wahr
Larry Wahr is the representative for Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. He graduated from the Ohio Institute of Technology and began a 26-year career in weighing/printing technologies as a product marketing manager. He also worked with product development, marketing, and sales support and later transitioned to sales, moving to Colorado as regional sales manager for the western United States. He grew up on a small family dairy farm in south central Michigan, raised and brought to faith by his Christian family. His sister Linda has served here at Moody for more than 30 years and introduced Larry to Moody. Joining Moody in 2008, he “has been blessed by the powerful impact Moody has on equipping young people with a passionate desire to serve our Lord around the world.” Larry enjoys living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and is an avid climber/mountaineer and skier. Larry and his wife of over 30 years, Pam, have four children and three grandchildren.
