On Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, Moody Bible Institute will host Walk Worthy, a one-day men’s conference on the historic Chicago campus.

From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Dr. Mark Jobe, president of Moody, along with Ed Stetzer and James Meeks will encourage and motivate men to follow Jesus more faithfully and embrace their calling as men of God. Stetzer is an author, interim pastor at The Moody Church, and host of Moody Radio’s Ed Stetzer Live. He also serves as executive director of the Billy Graham Center. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees at Moody Bible Institute, Rev. Meeks founded and pastors Salem Baptist Church in Chicago.

“This is going to be a powerful day of teaching, worship, and challenging one another to walk worthy as men of God,” said Dr. Jobe. “Men today need encouragement to persevere, so my prayer for this event is that the men will leave feeling inspired and equipped to be men of God so they can step up and lead where God has called them.”

In addition to speakers and a time of worship, a panel discussion on “Walking Worthy in the Midst of the #MeToo Movement” will take place as well. Walter Owens, who serves as minister of music, media, and arts at Salem Baptist Church of Chicago, will lead worship.

Early bird registration is $65 until Aug. 31. Registration to Walk Worthy Men's Conference includes attendance to the full day conference, continental breakfast, lunch, a conference  T-shirt and a copy of the Moody Publishers’ book Raising Men Not Boys by Mike Fabarez.
