Moody Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremonies
Moody Radio will broadcast the One Cry Prayer Summit from 7-9 p.m. (CT), on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 2, 2013. This is the second consecutive year Moody Radio has partnered with One Cry to promote prayer and revival within the body of Christ.
"Our hope for this year's prayer summit is to create a chorus of prayer," said Dan Craig, manager of programming at Moody Radio. "This is not about a broadcast, but about Moody Radio's participation in the movement and prayer for ongoing revival in Christ's Church."
The focus of this year's prayer summit is reconciliation and unity that leads to a spiritual awakening in the global church today and in future generations. Prayer will be led by special guests including Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Dr. Crawford Loritts, U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Sara Groves, Francis Chan and others. Music from Meredith Andrews and Matthew West will be featured and musicians Steve Wick and Angie Thomas will be in the studio. Scripture reading and times of reflection will be interspersed throughout the broadcast. Listeners will be able to participate through live chatting, social media and by phone.
The One Cry Prayer Summit will be carried on Moody Radio's 36 owned and operated stations and participating affiliate stations. It will be hosted by Wayne Shepherd, host of several nationally-syndicated programs, and veteran concert of prayer leader, Bob Bakke.
